Week 2, Day 2:
Love’s Intention
God’s love isn’t passive or random, it’s intentional. He doesn’t just feel love toward you, He has plans that flow from His love. Plans that are good. Plans that give hope. Plans that lead to life.
This verse wasn’t written during a high point in Israel’s story. It came while they were exiled, discouraged, and probably wondering if God had forgotten them. And maybe you’ve felt the same: like your future is uncertain, or your current season feels like a setback. But God responds to exile with love. He speaks into brokenness with purpose.
His love doesn’t just comfort; it directs. His love doesn’t just feel good, it leads somewhere. The God who loves you has gone ahead of you. He’s written a story that includes healing, restoration, and peace.
You are not an accident. Your life is not overlooked. And your future is not fragile when it’s in His hands.
“‘For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.’”
Jeremiah 29:11 NKJV
Reflection:
Do I believe that God’s love includes a plan for my life, even when things don’t look like it? Am I trusting His intentions or fearing my circumstances?
Declaration:
“Father, thank You that Your love for me includes a future. Even when I don’t see it, You’re working for my good. I trust Your heart, Your timing, and Your plans.”
