Week 2, Day 4:

Come As You Are

Sometimes we look at ourselves and only see what’s broken. We replay our failures, our flaws, and the things we wish we could change. In those moments, it’s easy to believe that God is disappointed in us—or worse, distant from us.

But the truth of the Gospel is this: God never asked you to be perfect before coming to Him. He invites you just as you are. Not the cleaned-up version of you. Not the version with fewer struggles. The real, right-now you.

God would rather you come to Him messy than not come at all. His love isn’t based on your ability to get everything right. It’s based on His decision to draw near to you in grace.

Perfection was never the requirement—proximity was. And through Jesus, we have full access to a loving Father who already sees, already knows, and still chooses us. And has all the help we need.

“So now we draw near freely and boldly to where grace is enthroned, to receive mercy’s kiss and discover the grace we urgently need to strengthen us in our time of weakness.”

‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭4‬:‭16‬ ‭TPT‬‬

Reflection:

Am I holding back from God because I think I need to “fix myself” first? What would it look like for me to come to Him just as I am today?

Declaration:

I don’t have to be perfect to come to You.

You see me, know me, and still choose me.

Today, I choose to come boldly, flaws and all, because Your grace is sufficient for my weakness, and Your love has made a way for me.
