Week 5, Day 4:

Covenant Will Cost You—But It Builds What Convenience Never Can

You can’t carry someone else’s burden with one hand on your phone and one foot out the door. Covenant means sometimes you inconvenience yourself for the sake of someone else’s healing.

Yes, love costs something. Time. Pride. Energy. But it builds something greater than convenience ever could—trust, unity, and strength that doesn’t crack under pressure.

In The Fight of Your Life, I shared how victory demands investment. You don’t get victory in your thought life—or in your relationships—without intentional sowing. Same principle applies here: covenant takes investment. And investment always produces increase.

“Share each other’s burdens, and in this way obey the law of Christ.”

— Galatians 6:2 (NLT)

Reflection Questions:

 •    Have I been prioritizing comfort over calling in my relationships?

    •    Where is God calling me to re-invest—not withdraw?

Confession:

“I sow into what matters. I’m not cheap with my love, stingy with my time, or flaky in my commitments.”
