Week 6, Day 2:

Love Is Greater Than Your Emotions

“Prophecy and speaking in unknown languages and special knowledge will become useless. But love will last forever!”

— 1 Corinthians 13:8 (NLT)

Feelings change. Seasons change. People change. But love that comes from God never fails.

Sometimes loving people isn’t easy—especially when you feel triggered, frustrated, or offended. But walking in love isn’t about waiting until you feel like it. It’s about making a Spirit-led decision to respond, not react.

Your emotions might scream for payback. But love says, “I’ll honor God with my response, not my reaction.” That’s real strength.

Reflection Questions:

 •    Do I let my emotions dictate whether I walk in love?

    •    What can I do this week to pause before reacting?

Confession:

“God’s love gives me power over my emotions. I respond with love, not offense.”
